Slaughterhouse
The links with DSM in relation to slaughterhouses are numerous. Many potential applications in this area are still to be developed, however, the use of feather, bones, scrap meat and blood, is documented. Carcass and breast yield performance as well as condemnation incidence can be improved through DSM feed solutions. Also, covering the slaughterhouse with a DSM floor coating will result in a reduced overall microbial burden. Last but not least, workers’ safety can be improved using DSM solutions.
